In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

In-Vitro Fertilization is a specialized high-tech form of fertility treatment in which oocytes (eggs) are fertilized with sperm outside of the womb in a laboratory. The resulting embryos are then transferred to the patient’s uterus with the objective of establishing a pregnancy. Originally, IVF was developed to overcome infertility due to fallopian tube problems in women, but it has evolved into a suitable treatment for nearly all forms of infertility in both men and women.
